Recommended Ceremony Start Times

NoteCeremony start times are usually earlier than the listed times below. There are many factors that go into your wedding timeline, and your planner will help ensure your day goes as smoothly as possible. The following times are just for general information and a starting place.

Bright & Airy Ceremony

Begins about two and a half hours before sunset. Plenty of natural light for a formal, well-lit ceremony with time for full family portraits before the sun starts to soften.

Golden Hour Ceremony

Begins about ninety minutes before sunset. The ceremony ends right as golden hour begins — ideal pacing for warm, glowing portraits without rushing.

Sunset Ceremony

Begins forty-five minutes before sunset. Vows happen as the sky turns — dramatic and unforgettable, but tight on portrait time after.
